Prepare for the holy month of Ramadan
The Writter: Muhammad Hassan Nouruddin Ismail
May the peace,
blessings, and mercy of Allah be upon you,
Praise be to Allah and I bear witness that there is no god but Allah,
alone has no partner, His is all the kingdom and his is all praise,
One God, an individual who endured.
He was not born, nor was he born, nor was he equal to anyone.
The first is nothing before him, and the last is nothing after him,
He is capable of everything
He has the Most Beautiful Names and the Most High Attributes.
And I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
May Allah's blessings and peace be upon him ,
And upon his family and all his companions.
As for after, Season's greetings,
These are blessed days and we are in the month of Sha'ban
and awaiting the blessed month of Ramadan,
in which Allah revealed the Qur’an.
It is the best month of the year.
Allah Almighty sends down blessings and mercy.
Fasting is one of the pillars of Islam.
Allah imposed his fasting on every Muslim.
A sane adult, a true resident, male or female.
O Muslims: After a few days, a blessed guest will appear to us.
A month dear to the heart of every believer.
The month of goodness and blessing.
The month of closeness and worship.
It is the holy month of Ramadan, In it, the treasures of grace, mercy,
.and benevolence are opened.
Indeed, this month witnessed the Day of Resurrection with kindness
to those who did good.
And by offending those who offended, and the consequence is for
the righteous. Blessed are those who fast.
And woe to those who break the fast and the open.
A month in which a Muslim purifies himself by fasting and
purifies himself with piety, Allah says :
( يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمْ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ ) البقرة : 183 -
(O you who have believed, fasting is prescribed for you as it
was prescribed for those before you, so that you may become righteous.)
O people of high determination, O those with lofty demands:
The spoils are as serious as the abandonment of idleness.
Show for those before you, so that you may become righteous)
the good of yourselves in it.
Allah Almighty looks at your grandfather and your rivalry in it.
He was the beloved, peace and blessings be upon him.
His companions herald the advent of Ramadan.
He says: (Ramadan has come to you, a blessed month,
Allah Almighty has enjoined upon you fasting,
Heaven's gates open, the gates of hell are closed
and the demons are infiltrated in it.
Allah has a night that is better than a thousand months.
He who is deprived of its goodness has been deprived)
Let's all roll up to seize these blessed notes and repent to God
Almighty by abandoning sin, And do acts of worship and we say as Moses
, peace be upon him, said to his Lord, Blessed and Exalted be He:
(وعَجِلْتُ إلَيْكَ رَبِّ لِتَرْضَى) And I hasten to you, Lord, to be satisfied .
In this blessed month, we live its notes.. witness its bounties..
and enjoy its blessings - A great month - His times are not like other
times.
In it, wages are doubled.. and grades are raised.
Tranquility descends, and signs of faith appear on faces.
Hearts soften in honor of these virtuous times.
Loved ones meet, Muslims visit each other, and the rich sympathize
with the poor.
Islamic etiquette and sublime morals that Islam called for are spreading.
People stop lying, backbiting and gossip because the whiffs of Ramadan
have blown on their souls, so their hearts are relieved and reassured,
so their limbs are straightened and humiliated, so they prefer obedience
and avoid disobedience. - God, Glory be to Him,
made every deed of the son of Adam for him, except for fasting,
so He made it for him, Glory be to Him:
On the authority of Abu
Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God’s
prayers and peace be upon him, said:
(Every deed of the son of Adam multiplies the good by ten times
to seven hundred times.
Allah God Almighty said, Except for fasting, for it is for Me
and I shall reward for it.
He leaves his food and drink for me.
The fasting person has two joys: joy when he breaks his fast and joy
when he meets his Lord.
And the smell of it is better with God than the smell of musk.)
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him,
that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said:
(When Ramadan begins, the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hell are closed)
Therefore, we see that many of the disobedient people repent to God
with sincere repentance during the month of Ramadan,
so they stay in the mosques.
They observe prayers, fasts, and other good deeds.
We also notice the large number of worshipers in mosques
and the lack of differences between people.
One of the advantages of the blessed month of Ramadan is
that God Almighty chains up the devils who seek corruption on earth.
And in the month of Ramadan,
God Almighty favors us that whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith
in it and in anticipation of it, God Almighty
will forgive him of all his previous sins.
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him,
that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said:
(Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and in anticipation of reward,
God Almighty will forgive him of his past sins)
Among what is benefited
in this blessed month is the anticipation
of good deeds and acts of worship, some of
which are:
1- Preserving
prayer in congregation - Zakat - upholding ties of kinship -
honoring one's religion - checking on one's
neighbors - forgiving those
with whom you have grudges - not being
extravagant –
educating those under your hands
- taking care
of the affairs of your Muslim brothers
- not spending
anything of what you have been entrusted with for the benefit
of yourself - your response and joy with
advice
- Beware of
hypocrisy - Your love for your brother what you love for yourself –
Your quest for reform - Not backbiting your
brothers
- Reciting the
Qur’an and contemplating its meanings.
2- Get up
He, may God’s prayers
and peace be upon him, said
(Whoever prays Ramadan out of faith and in
anticipation of reward,
his past sins will be forgiven) Agreed upon.
And he said (Whoever
prays with the imam until he finishes,
it is written for him that he spent the night
praying) Narrated by the people of Sunan and classed as hasan by al-Tirmidhi.
A woman may pray
Taraweeh in the mosque, provided that
she goes out modestly and does not display
herself with adornment or perfume.
3- Tolerance and turning
away from the ignorant.
The Prophet, may God’s
prayers and peace be upon him, said:
Whoever does not give up false speech, acting
upon it, and ignorance,
it is not for God to give up his food and
drink.)
4- Ijtihad in the last
ten days.
When the Prophet, may
God’s prayers and peace be upon him,
entered the ten days, he would tighten his
apron, revive the night
and wake his family.
5- Apologize for
mistakes and forgive.
The month of Ramadan is
the month of tolerance and forgiveness,
and a Muslim in this month should have good morals
and treat people well. If a Muslim wrongs his brother, he regrets it and
hastens to apologize to him.
We ask God Almighty to
help us remember Him, thank Him
and worship Him well
And may our good deeds
be accepted
May Allah reward you
with good, and peace, mercy and blessings
of Allah be upon you.
May the peace,
blessings, and mercy of Allah be upon you
